Mnemotechnic tools in emergencies
Mnemonic tools or alghorithm abbreviations are tools which help to keep information in long term memory. Students often use it. Another mnemonics exist to help memorize systemic patient history taking, optimal performance of physical examination at internal, neurological, psychiatric and surgical complaints, mass casualty incident report to dispatch centre or correct referral to other health care person. Some of acronyms are in the article with explanation of principles. Importance is based on ability to secure the best possible care to patients and compensate differencies between skilled physician and beginner.
