PHYSICIAN AS WITNESS AND EXPERT WITNESS IN CIVIL LAW AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE
Physician in his daily praxis is sometimes forced to interact and cooperate with law enforcement officers and organizations. In such a situation the physician can as act as witness or expert witness. Processual rights and duties of an expert witness differ from rights and duties of witness in general. The authors present a short overview of the legislation related to the position of physician as witness and expert witness in Slovak criminal justice.
