THE BREAST CANCER IN THE GENERAL PRACTITIONER‘S PRACTICE

The breast cancer is the most common carcinoma disease in the women population. It occurs in 1/4 to 1/3 of whole malignance cancer in women. It is the most frequent cause of death in women in the productive age from the whole cancer diseases. The lifetime risk of developing the breast cancer in women is 7 : 1 in U.S.A., in Slovakia it is by about 20 : 1. The success of treatment and the prognosis depend on the stage of disease.
