The incidence of insomnia in general practice is very common. The number of disclosed cases is highly increasing, once the general practitioner (GP) is actively asking about the symptoms related to this health problem. The treatment can be initiated by GP, but all the risks of the treatment must be taken in consideration. To follow the general guidelines for insomnia treatment is helpful.
