Implantable and paracorporeal devices in primary care
The article describes the most common implantable and paracorporeal devices (devices outside the body), their basic characteristics and principles of operation. It provides general practitioners and paramedics with knowledge that they may need in making decisions in more or less urgent situations in the ambulance.
