PHARMACOLOGICAL TREATMENT OF OSTEOPOROSIS

Osteoporosis becomes today increasingly significant medical, pharmaceutical and economical problem. Improved diagnostics and increased mean age are associated with increased incidence of osteoporosis and its complications, especially fracture of femur, spine, forearm and other regions of skeleton. The aim of the article is to present current therapeutic options in the treatment of osteoporosis.
