Exsudate in chronic wound – its management and an appropriate choice of wound dressings
In this article we pay attention to understanding of the presence of exsudate in the wound, its importance, the proper evaluation and classification, principles of exsudating wound care and choosing the appropriate procedure for its treatment. The recommended procedures of the WUWHS (World Union of Wound Healing Societies) expert group are in particular reflected.
