EPIDEMIOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF HEART FAILURE: EPIDEMY IN PROGRESS. WHAT IS THE REALITY IN OUR CONDITIONS?

Prevalence of heart failure among patients dramatically increases in populations all over the world, including the developing countries. In this paper authors tried to show the epidemiologic aspects of this nowadays very important problem. Despite many new knowledges in the pathophysiology of the cluster of syndromes of this disease, there has been little change in survival among heart failure patients. Therefore the complex prevention is likely to be the best way forward.

Keywords: chronic heart failure, epidemiology.
