ECONOMIC EVALUATION IN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM

Basic economic evaluation of healthcare was already done in 17th century, in England. Since than evaluation came through many substantial changes, but there is still space for improvement. There are four basic methods used for economic evaluation of healthcare: cost-effectiveness analysis, cost-benefit analysis, cost-utility analysis and cost-minimization analysis.
