Blood and its components donation – practical aspects for general practitioner
The aim of the National transfusion service (NTS) SR is to supply a national demand on blood products, which meet up to date criteria for safety and quality. General practitioner has from his integrative position an option to participate on this process. The article presents the common aspects of cooperation among general practitioner and the specialist in hematology and transfusion medicine working as well in NTS as in clinical workplaces, which is necessary for global blood donor`s management.
