Influenza in seniors and possibilities of its prevention

Influenza is an infectious disease that causes a rapidly spreading and variable virus. It occurs as an acute inflammatory disease of the upper respiratory tract. The onset of influenza is sudden, from full health. Complications occur in high-risk individuals (the elderly and those suffering from chronic heart disease) can cause life-threatening effects. In this paper, the authors analyze the possibilities of influenza prevention in seniors.
