Disease of the eye and aging
In aging, there are changes in almost all structures of the human body, not excluding the human eye. The changes in ocular tissues are part of the expression of tissue and organ changing in general. The most common diseases and changes of the eye in elderly are presbyopia, age-related macular degeneration, cataract, glaucoma, retinal vascular disease.
