PRACTICAL AMBULANTORY THERAPY OF OBESITY

Obesity, because of its connection to complications lowering the life quality and highering the morbidity and mortality population rate, has become one of the worst problems of modern society. The treatment of obesity requires much time and consists largely of praxis procedures. In order to decrease the impact of obesity on the population we require efficient management, realistic goals, adequate diagnostic and treatment methods but also efficient health policy (which indicates the depth of the problem). Obesity, because of the potential polymorbidity related to it, requires multidisciplinar reasoning in each of the intervention phases. A deseased obese patient is one of the most difficult internal patient types.
