Allergic rhinitis – actual immunological perspective
Review article focuses on contemporary knowledge of ethiopathogenesis, classification, diagnosis and therapy of non-infective – allergic and non-allergic rhinitis. Actual view on rhinitis classification is accented with respect on therapeutic decisions. Intranasal corticosteroids and modern H1-antihistamines as first line anti-allergic drugs and allergen vaccination as the only causal therapy with preventive effect are emphasised.
