Urgent and emergent operations on carotid arteries
Operations on extracranial section of the carotid artery are the most common vascular surgery operations. The timing of this type of operation is recently very discussed topic. The aim of the article is to clarify indications, degree of stenosis, the time factor, morbidity and mortality.
