Ozone therapy, not just periradicular
Ozonotherapy is a minimally invasive, non-operative procedure, which involves the application of medical ozone, or a mixture of O2/O3 in a precisely determined amount and concentration to a specified, affected area. In Slovakia, the most common method of ozone therapy that meets this definition belongs to the periradicular application of O2/O3 in root syndrome, in the involvement of the nerve caused mainly by hernia IV (intervertebral) disc. The aim of this article is to point out the real potential in medical ozone treatment within the interdisciplinary cooperation with the vision of uncomplicated and accessible in all directions.
