Robot-assisted radical prostatectomy, the experience after performed the first 50 procedures
The authors present the first experience with robot-assisted radical prostatectomy according to carried out the first 50 cases. There were evaluated surgical results, complications, oncologic and functional results. The duration of surgeries was shortened gradually and blood losses were minimal. Incontinence of urine and other adverse effects occurred minimally. Great majority of patients had postoperatively zero PSA level.
