PROSTATIC SYNDROME – ASYMPTOMATIC PROSTATITIS

Asymptomatic prostatic inflammation can be detected from BPH and prostate cancer surgical specimens, or in prostatic biopsies taken because PSA levels are elevated. Together with men with elevated white cells count in EPS/semen during evaluation for infertility or other disorders patients are classified as category IV prostatitis. However clinical relevance of this particular category is unknown current knowledge about this clinical entity is mentioned in the article.
