Optimized practices in hand hygiene
Hand hygiene is a basic element in the prevention of the spread of healthcare-associated infections and professional infections for barrier-based nursing, which in the event of their occurrence have a negative impact on both the patient and the healthcare facility itself. The communication presents the results of monitoring the compliance of hand hygiene at the paramedical staff of the Urology Clinic in selected nursing procedures.
