Transplantation of hepatocytes
Liver transplantation is currently the only method of therapy in advanced acute, chronic and metabolic diseases of the liver. The problem with these transplants remains a persistent lack of suitable donors. Transplantation of hepatocytes is a suitable alternative to organ transplant liver. The procedure is much less invasive and can be performed repeatedly.
