Recurrent cutaneous leukocytoclastic vasculitis leading to instability of the foot

Vasculitis is a heterogeneous group of diseases, the essence of which is localized inflammation of the vascular wall. The overall clinical picture and severity of the disease depend on the extent and type of affected vessels. In our case report, we present the case of a 38- to 41-year-old patient with a recurrent cutaneous form of vasculitis, which led to damage to the ligament apparatus of the foot and subsequent instability with the development of secondary equinovarous foot position. Relapsing ulcerations and their recurrent secondary infections have led to damage to the ligament apparatus. This deformity subsequently required surgical treatment in order to correct the unsatisfactory position.
