Need of intermediate unit in large Slovak hospitals
Intermediate care units provide more intensive monitoring and patient management with higher personal experience than the general ward but less than is offered in the Intensive Care Unites. The Intermediate care for adults or children in the hospital supports the right diagnosis of patients, effectiveness of treating patients and reduces the high cost of the intensive care unit and also prevents serious health complications that are why we need Intermediate care unit in big Slovak hospitals.
