Huge liver cyst of young patient – case report
The type of adequate treatment for non-parasitic liver cysts is dependent on it histological dignity, localization, size and number of occurrences. According to available literature, the laparoscopic deroofing is a gold standard for the treatment of simple non-parasitic liver cysts with the possibility of histological evaluation. In this case, we describe the rare finding of a huge unilocular non-parasitic liver cyst in a young patient that we safely extirpated without any subsequent complications.
