Possibilities of SILS in miniinvasive surgery
SILS (single incision laparoscopic surgery) is a rapidly developing method of miniinvasive surgery. The most important goal is to minimize the trauma of the abdominal wall, to reduce the postoperative pain and also to achieve a better cosmetic effect. The aim of this work is to present a global view of current knowledge and experience with SILS and to show the advantages and disadvantages of this new method of surgery.
