Abdominal tuberculosis – gynecological tumor mimics, a case report

Abdominal tuberculosis is manifestation of extrapulmonary tuberculosis which can be easily misdiagnosed due to mimics of other diseases. Early suspicion is needed to treat it correctly. Laboratory results are nonspecific and can lead us other diseases for example ovarian cancer. Laparoscopic biopsy became common diagnostic tool in differential diagnosis of abdominal TBC. Antituberculotic drugs are important in eradication of abdominal TBC and surgical treatment is performed in case of complications. In our case we present a patient with abdominal form of tuberculosis imitating gynecological tumor.
