Prevalence of psychotic symptoms in the general population – correlates with schizophrenia risk factors

Dimensional models of psychiatric disorders propose that symptoms of psychosis are continuously expressed across the whole population. Results from the empirical studies found that psychotic experiences have similar pattern of associations to risk known risk factors like those in schizophrenia. The aim of the present study is to analyze the prevalence of psychotic experience and relationships to THC use, social functioning, attachment, and cognitive functions.
