SSRI treatment during pregnancy and breastfeeding

Clinical practice brings the necessity of SSRI treatment even during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Current evidence suggest that the benefits of SSRI treatment of mental disorders overweight potential risks for pregnancy and breastfed child. However, individual approach, together with individual evaluation of benefit/risk ratio is required.
