PSYCHOTHERAPEUTICS DO NOT DIVIDE A PSYCHIATRIST FROM A CARDIOLOGIST
In routine medical practice a cardiologist encounters mainly two groups of psychotherapeutics frequently used by a psychiatrist – antipsychotics and antidepressants. Antipsychotics can possibly cause unfavorable cardiac impacts, on the contrary some antidepressants can prevent major cardiovascular events.
