Psychiatry and Assessment Medicine, review of some interdisciplinar problems
There are often misunderstandings between psychiatrists and advisory doctors, which are given by the fact they both don’t know, what one wants and needs from other. Psychiatrist has only vague understanding to principles of assessing health status for purposes of invalidity and advisory doctor has only a vague understanding to psychiatry, largely from his distant medical past. The goal of this article is to explain to psychiatrists principles of assessing, what is named long-lasting unfavourable health status, for their better communication with advisory doctors in favour of all participants and mainly patients.
