Practical recommendations for the management of resistant depression treatment with esketamine
The article’s content provides recommendations on the use of intranasal esketamine, including treatment initiation, practicalities of esketamine administrations and management of possible adverse events, all based on the literature data and own clinical experience. In addition, a part of the manuscript is delivered information on how esketamine might fit into the management of treatment-resistant depression. The final part of the document deals with the educational aspect of the esketamine application in terms of maximizing the positive effects.
