Personality of addicted individuals in the context of Cloninger’s theory of personality – overview of the research findings
The article brings the overview of the research findings related to the personality of addicted individuals, and also refers to the dominant temperament and character dimensions in the context of the Cloninger’s theory of personality. The previous studies did not confirm that there is any uniform „addiction personality“. However, some personality characteristics occuring at a higher rate can be find in addicted individuals.
