Music therapy in clinical practice

Music therapy is a modern psychotherapy method. Currently, it is actively used in England, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Canada, and the United States. In the last decade, there has been a growing interest in music therapy in the Czech Republic, particularly in the field of medicine. Music therapy is a very effective method in treating various psychosomatic complaints, communication problems, or sleep disorders. As dance movement therapy, music therapy is capable of improving the physical condition and may contribute to enhancing self-confidence. As sound therapy and musical imagination, it supports positive thinking and changes the view of the world.
