Communication disorders in dementia
Communication disorders are frequent in dementia. These deficits can be present at single word level (anomia, paraphasias), at sentence level (agramatism, sentence comprehension deficits), and at discourse level (problems in cohesion or interpretation). This paper shortly describes most frequent cognitive-communication disorders in various types of dementia.
