Electroconvulsive therapy in the context of selected therapeutic guidelines
Three meaningful and current therapeutic guidelines for the practice of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) have been incorporated into this short review. This article has been amended to add other literature sources relevant to ECT specific issues.
