Depression and paranoid personality disorder
Depressive disorder is a serious disorder that affects the overall experience and behaviour of an individual. Comorbidity with personality disorders is frequent, what may have a negative impact on the course and treatment of depressive disorder. Paranoid personality disorder is one of the possible comorbidities. It significantly affects the whole personality of an individual who is suspicious, oversensitive, jealous, and overly critical. These personality characteristics may significantly interfere with the development of depressive disorder and its psychotherapeutic and pharmacotherapeutic treatment.
