Current possibilities of benign prostatic hyperplasia therapy part II.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia is one of the most frequent disease in men over 50 years. The prevalence of the disease is increasing in the world. Phytopharmaceuticals containing the active extracts from Saw Palmetto creeping, African plums and pumpkins are common not only in prevention but as well as in treatment of the disease. It is often used together with pharmacological treatment too.
