Current possibilities of benign prostatic hyperplasia therapy part I.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia is one of the most frequent disease in men over 50 years. The prevalence of the disease is increasing in the world. Today there are many possibilities in treatment of this disease, whether pharmacological treatment (antagonists α-adrenergic receptors, 5α-reductase inhibitors, plant character or combination therapy) as well as surgical treatment.
