Risk factors for development of haemorrhoids and relief of their symptoms after the application of polycomponent medical device

Haemorrhoids are distal displacement and venous distention of the hemorrhoidal cushions, a condition that affects 39 to 52% of adults. Haemorrhoids are commonly asymptomatic but can be complicated by painless bleeding, prolapse, soiling and pruritus Constipation, a low fiber diet, sedentary lifestyle and gravidity are commonly assumed to increase the risk of hemorrhoids. We performed a biomedical research on 328 patients, (203 women, 125 men), aged 14 – 95. The objective of our biomedical research was to evaluate the clinical efficacy of polycomponent medical device in adult patients with haemorrhoidal disease and to focus mainly on the acute phase of the attack of a haemorrhoidal disease.
