New knowledges about metabolism and safety of arbutin
Arbutin is an effective component of tea mixtures containing the leaves of bearberry which is used as the helping treatment of bacterial urinary inflammations. Arbutin is added into the cosmetics for whitening of hyperpigmentated skin as well. The using of arbutin is important to consider due to the new toxicological studies of arbutin and its aglycone hydroquinone.
