Scar and burn injury therapy

Skin scarring in response to skin of various types including burns, operating wounds, injuries and skin disorders leading to the scarring process is a serious therapeutic and cosmetic problem, many times significantly affecting the quality of life of the patient with scars. The following text provides an overview of the mechanism of scar formation, its characteristics and especially the treatment options for non-surgical modalities. Part of the review is dedicated to the issue of burns belonging to the most common accidents at all.
