Compression stockings
Compression therapy is part of a comprehensive treatment of chronic venous disease and it used also in another indications. Its main function is to compensate the vascular bed using elastic compression stockings. They are used for permanent and long-term treatment. The principle of treatment is the application of a graduated pressure on the lower extremity at the ankle. To achieve the proper effect is needed to select the appropriate type.
