Pharmacokinetic modeling II.
The paper is devoted to the synthesis of mathematical models of various ways of the drug application as a theoretical basis of the in-silico modelling in the pharmaceutical research. From the synthetized models are derived equations for calculation of the most important pharmacokinetic parameters. The principle of equivalent areas is emphasized as a basis for the design of application regimes. The principle is illustrated by examples of the long-lasting intravenous infusion and the repeated intravenous injection.
