Selected features in the treatment of postoperative pain in children

Child Pain is an unpleasant emotional experience, which may affect the child throughout his life. Although pain is a warning sign of the disease, may under certain circumstances become unnecessary suffering and greatly reduce the quality of a child‘s life. In medicine and nursing as a main philosophy applies holistic, holistic approach to person. That is why it should be included in the care of not only the body but also the soul. If a child suffers from pain, are postihnutéobetieto of personality. Medicine knows nowadays many ways to dampen pain using pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. However, in order to proceed to the actual pain relief, pain must first be recognizedand correctly diagnosed. In the present paper the authors make available opportunities diagnosis and treatment of pain in children in relation to surgical operation.
