Toxic plants in our environment can cause phytophotodermatitis
Invasive plants in Slovakia are non-native species that have been imported from Asia or the Americas mostly as ornamental plants. Some of them have health risks as allergens, while others produce phytophotodermatitis, a toxic skin damage in connection with solar radiation at the site of contact. In this paper we describe a case of phytophotodermatitis, that was observed in a 3 year old boy.
