Contraception, in pediatric gynecology, has its primary role in protecting against unwanted pregnancy. It is an effort to move pregnancy planning into an ideal reproductive period and thus avoid the risks arising from the young age of adolescents. However, it is also used in numerous therapeutic indications. Increasingly, patients are not interested only in protection from pregnancy, but also in contraception potential risks.
