Ranulas and mucoceles in children
The terms ranula and mucocele are used for diagnosis of salivary gland cysts many times incorrectly. Authors direct attention towards main differences in epidemiology, etiopathogenesis and clinical picture of these conditions. They introduce brief differential diagnosis of them within soft tissue cysts of the orofacial region and the treatment options.
