Legislative adjustment of obligatory regular vaccination of children
Vaccination is one of the most successful and most effective methods of preventing the emergence and spread of communicable diseases in the population and serves to protect individuals and populations against infections that lead to widespread epidemics and deaths. The paper deals with legislation compulsory vaccination of children in the Slovak Republic. It mainly addresses to the legislation providing for compulsory vaccination, implementation of vaccination, misdemeanor in the field of public health in relation to non-compliance with mandatory vaccinations.
