SPA TREATMENT OF DYSFUNCTION OF EMPTYING LOWER URINARY TRACT

There are presented possibilities of exploiting of spa therapy towards positive influence on functional disorders of lower urinary tract evacuation in children in this article. Besides classical natural therapeutic resources as mineral waters, peat and a spring gas, different forms of medical physical education, massages, electrotherapeutic procedures are used in combination with new components of active rehabilitation (myofeedback, sono-biofeedback). Article is topped up with a selection and description of individual exercises according to Mrs. Mojžíšová for a relaxation of pelvic floor muscles and sacroiliac joint. Functional disorders of lower urinary tract evacuation contribute to recurrences and chronic course of renal and urinary tract infections in many children, it participates to the origination of secondary vesicoureteric reflux, damage of a parenchyma and renal function.
