Endoscopic adenoidectomy in children with otitis media with effusion

Otitis media with effusion can lead to a conductive hearing loss which has a negative impact on the development of speech, intelligence and behavior in childhooh in a long-term aspect. Hypertrophy of adenoid near the opening of Eustachian tube appears to be the most important factor in the pathogenesis of this disease. The aim of this work was to follow up retreatment of effusion after endoscopic adenoidectomy, to emphasize its importance and the technique of the realization.
