SUFFOCATION IN UPPER RESPIRATORY TRACT AFFECTIONS IN CHILDREN
Acute upper respiratory tract obstructions belong among relatively frequent causes of serious situations in pediatrics. They are often the reason for an urgent admision to the hospital. Significantly expressed obstruction requires an intensive care unit stay. Critical obstruction is a reason for securing an artificial access into the airways and further resuscitative care. Article deals with the treatment of airways obstruction with an emphasis to the primary care.
